Three Fruits That Can Surprise You… And Spike Your Sugar. We all think fruits are always healthy. But for people with diabetes or obesity, some can actually backfire.

1. Pineapple → Very high in sugar. Even a bowl can raise blood sugar fast. Juice is worse fiber is gone, sugar hits hard.

2. Ripe Jackfruit → Sweet and tempting. Easy to overeat, causing sugar and insulin spikes.

3. Melon → Seems harmless, but very low in fiber. Eating a lot can shoot up your sugar levels.

Pro Tip - Instead of focusing on “which fruits to avoid,” focus on portion size and fiber. Pair fruits with nuts or yogurt to slow sugar spikes. Small changes like this help protect your insulin and weight especially after summer.
