In the digital jungle, we don’t chase wild beasts, we chase work deadlines. Instinctually though, we're still kinda primal. We crave the two constants that nourish our bodies and minds. Nutritious Food and Stimulating Exercise.
How do we manage both?
Hunt for Nutrition: When you head to the cafeteria, don’t just grab what's
easy. Be intentional. Be primal.
- Choose protein over processed: eggs, paneer, sprouts, grilled chicken.
- Fiber-rich plants: veggies, fruits, millets.
- Go easy on them carbs. (We never really ate too much of that refined stuff
back in the day, did we?)
- Avoid sugar traps and ultra-processed bait, they mess with our gut and brain.
Gather Exercise: In a sitting industry, movement is scarce. You must gather it
deliberately.
- Take the stairs like you're scaling a hill.
- Walk during calls—turn meetings into migrations.
- Sneak in squats while your camera is off.
- Use breaks to stretch, not scroll.
- Get in couple of runs, gym sessions/week. Let out those sweat fueled growls.
Nothing like a few "Come on's!! to unleash the cyber caged
"Virat" within.
Build
an Opportunity Seeking Mindset: Every moment is a chance to nourish or move. Be
alert. Be adaptive. Be ancestral. Remember you’re not just Working. You’re Surviving. Thriving. Be the hunter-gatherer your body remembers.
Time for beast mode.
