Claude AI vs Claude Code vs Claude Cowork

 AI is moving from chat to agency. We are seeing a massive bifurcation in how we interact with models like Claude. It’s no longer a one-size-fits-all text box; it’s a specialized toolkit.

For the Thinker: The Web App remains the gold standard for reasoning. It’s where you refine your "What" and "Why."

For the Builder: Claude Code is the shift into the "AI Engineer" era. It lives in your terminal, understands your repo, and acts as a junior dev that never sleeps.

For the Admin: Claude Cowork is the desktop layer. It handles the "boring stuff", data extraction, file organization, and tool-to-tool synchronization.

My takeaway? Stop trying to force your terminal work into a chatbot, and stop trying to use a chatbot to manage your files. Use the right layer for the right logic.
