Sleep Not # of Hours but TIME matters

You can’t logic your way to better sleep. But if 8 hours was enough, most people wouldn’t still feel tired. Let me explain.. Most people today especially youngsters treat sleep like a calculation. “I’ll sleep at 12 and wake up at 8, that’s 8 hours. Sorted.”

Sounds logical, but sleep doesn’t work on logic. It works on biology.

Your body follows a natural rhythm. And the window between 10:00 PM to 2:00 AM is critical your deepest repair phase. This is when

→ Inflammation is regulated

→ Hormones are reset

→ Recovery is at its peak

Now here’s the catch. If you stay awake past 11–12, you suddenly feel more awake. Like you’ve unlocked a second wave of energy. That’s not productivity. That’s your stress hormones kicking in.

And over time, this leads to

↳ Higher cortisol

↳ Increased insulin resistance

↳ Difficulty in fat loss

↳ Higher risk of diabetes

↳ Low energy the next day

So the problem isn’t just how much you sleep. It’s when you sleep. With World Sleep Day around the corner, here’s something to reflect on. Stop trying to out-calculate your body. Start aligning with it.

Try to Sleep by 10pm..Wake by 6am. And observe what changes not just your energy, but your entire metabolism. Your body doesn’t heal on numbers. It heals on timing.
