3 Ingredients that helped me Reset my Taste buds. In preparation for the nine-day fast, I decided to go all in. Twenty days ago, I took the first step → I let go of all outside food.
This wasn’t just about eating less it was about reducing constant hunger spikes
and cravings. I also topped up my micronutrients vitamins C, B complex, and a
few others to keep my body balanced.
Most of what makes food “tasty” is just the surface layer → salt, oil, and
sugar.
These enhance flavor artificially. The inherent taste of food gets lost. Now, after almost 15 days, even boiled sprouts taste incredible no seasoning
needed. My taste buds have reset.
I can enjoy the natural flavor of food again. This is the real lesson, resetting your taste buds to appreciate the base
flavor of native foods is critical.
Otherwise, “richness” becomes the standard, and every meal needs to be a
MasterChef creation.
