Protein consumption & Weight

Protein causes weight gain. One's eating barely 40g a day because they are still afraid it would make them fat. Protein doesn’t cause weight gain. Excess calories do. In fact, protein is the hardest macronutrient for your body to convert into fat. Nearly 30% of its calories are burned just in digestion that’s the thermic effect of food.

It also stabilises blood sugar, controls hunger, and preserves muscle the very thing that keeps your metabolism alive and active. So when someone says they’re “cutting down protein to lose weight,” what they’re actually doing is slowing down their metabolism and making fat loss harder.

Body needs fuel but not punishment. Feed it smartly. Still confused about how much protein your body really needs? DM me
