An average body carrying around 20 kg of fat holds nearly 1,80,000 calories of stored energy. That’s a massive fuel tank. Yet we feel hungry every few hours. Because over time, the body adapts to using incoming food as its primary fuel source.
The metabolic system stops drawing energy from stored fat and becomes dependent
on frequent eating. It’s a training issue not a hunger issue.
When the body is constantly supplied with glucose, it never needs to switch to
fat-burning. So the “hunger signals” keep firing, even when energy reserves are
full.
To reverse this, the body needs to be reminded of its original design - Use fat
when food isn’t available. One of the simplest ways to trigger this shift →
Fasting.
When you pause cooked-food intake for 24–48 hours, the body naturally switches
to using stored fat.
Once the switch happens, hunger reduces, energy stabilizes, and the body
becomes metabolically efficient.
