How to Slow Ageing?

Fix this first. Many people believe aging is purely genetic or inevitable once you cross a certain age.

In reality, what most people call “aging” is often accelerated metabolic dysfunction. Let's understand this with a simple comparison. Two individuals, both 35 years old. One looks visibly older fatigued, heavier, skin losing firmness. The other looks younger, leaner, and more energetic.

The difference is not luck. It comes down to four key metabolic factors

  • Chronic inflammation
  • High insulin levels
  • Excess body fat
  • Low muscle mass

When inflammation remains high, tissues age faster. When insulin is chronically elevated, fat storage increases and cellular repair slows down. Excess fat worsens insulin resistance, while low muscle mass reduces metabolic efficiency.

Then there is glycation particularly relevant in diabetes and prediabetes. Persistently high blood sugar binds to proteins in the body and damages collagen, blood vessels, and organs. This process accelerates visible and internal aging.

If you want to slow aging, do not start with cosmetic fixes.

  1. Start with metabolic correction.
  2. Lower inflammation.
  3. Improve insulin sensitivity.
  4. Reduce excess fat.
  5. Build and preserve muscle.
  6. Stabilize blood sugar.

When metabolism improves, biological age slows down and it shows. Aging is natural, Accelerated aging is often preventable.
