Avocado - Detailed analysis

This Fruit deserves more attention. Not because it is a “Superfood” but because it quietly brings several things together that matter for Metabolic Health. For someone with Diabetes or Insulin Resistance, food choices are not just about calories. They are also about what happens after you eat.

This is where this fruit gets interesting. Yes, I’m talking about Avocado.

1. Blood sugar: It has a very low Glycemic Impact and contains very little carbohydrate, so it does not cause a significant blood sugar spike.

2. Healthy fats: It is rich in monounsaturated fats, which can support insulin sensitivity and heart health when they replace less healthy fats.

3. Fiber: It provides both soluble and insoluble fiber. That means better support for digestion, satiety and gut health.

4. Antioxidants: It contains antioxidants, including lutein and zeaxanthin, which are particularly valuable for eye and cellular health.

And there is one more reason I like it, it is incredibly easy to use. You can add it to a smoothie, toss it into a salad, mix it with sprouts or simply make a delicious avocado toast. Sometimes, good nutrition is not complicated. It is about knowing which simple foods can give you more than one benefit.
